Here are the steps to fix it
We can easily solve this error message by using Canon printer resetter software as the solution or known resetter service tool.
1. Download the resetter service tool
here.
2. Reset Canon Printer with resetter service tool that has been downloaded. Please note Canon printer that we will reset must be in Service Mode to be reset.
HOW TO MAKE THE PRINTER "Service Mode".
1. In case of power supply cable attached (Printer blm on) ~ Press STOP / RESET button and Hold (do not disconnect), then Press POWER Button, so both buttons are in distressed position.
2. Release the STOP / RESET button but do not release the POWER button.
3. In case POWER button is still depressed, press STOP / RESET button 6 times.
4. Then release both buttons simultaneously. Ignore it if there is an error message. So Canon Printer is in Service Mode and can be reset.
How to Reset with Service Tool
Extract with right click The file service tool that has been downloaded using WinRar to be issued file. Do not know WinRar came
here.
Then run the Resetter Service Tool V3400 with the Canon Printer in Service Mode and PREPARE two Papers on the Printer.
1. In the "Clear Ink Counter" section select Absorber to Main and then click SET to the right, maybe the printer will print 1 page.
2. In the "Ink Absorber Counter" section select Absorber to Main and then click SET on the right.
3. In the "Print" then click EEPROM. then the printer will print 1 page.
4. Reset Printer is complete, do not forget then turn off the printer and turn it back on as normal so that in the Normal Mode and hopefully ready to use.
